Plain language. No gotchas.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or playing Crux or Luma, or by visiting brainloom.fun, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

2. The service

Brainloom provides Crux (a logic puzzle game), Luma (a word game), and this website. We may update, expand, or discontinue parts of our service at any time, though we'll do our best to give reasonable notice for significant changes.

3. Your account

You don't need an account to play. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

4. Purchases

Optional purchases (cosmetic packs, supporter membership) are processed through Apple or Google. All purchases are final unless required by law. Cosmetic items do not affect gameplay. We don't offer loot boxes or gambling mechanics.

5. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat, hack, or exploit bugs to gain unfair advantage
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our apps or infrastructure
• Harass other players
• Use our services for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual property

Brainloom, Crux, and Luma — including all designs, levels, music, and code — are owned by Brainloom Studio. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Our games are provided "as is." We do our best to keep them working perfectly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We're not liable for data loss due to technical failure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brainloom's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or €10, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using our services at any time. Sections on IP, liability, and governing law survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, unless local consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you in-app for material changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
